Kathryn McCoy (Managing Partner / Sister) - Jon McCoy (Design Partner / Brother)

    Brother and Sister Design Team, Jon McCoy and Kathryn McCoy, were born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and grew up in the Dallas area of Texas.  Together, they combined decades of knowledge, talent and an inherited gift for design from their mother, Mary McCoy, to form MCCOY DESIGN over ten years ago.  Jon brought his experience as a functional design artist, while Kathryn provided insight as Director of KATHRYN MCCOY CONSULTING, LLC, as well as knowledge of merchandising and her own creative vision.

    The primary design concept of MCCOY DESIGN is to bring functional products into the home environment made from nature’s raw materials.  MCCOY DESIGN achieves this goal by utilizing raw rock crystals, minerals, and semi-precious stones into their beautiful one-of-a-kind handmade designs allowing one to live naturally with art.

    Professional development, along with solid creative concepts has fueled MCCOY DESIGN’S steady growth over the past decade.  Today, MCCOY DESIGN occupies a production studio in Pennsylvania and a corporate office with showroom located in The Empire State Building in New York City.  MCCOY DESIGN also has international representation in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and France.

    Currently, MCCOY DESIGN creations can be found gracing the covers of the most popular magazines and have been featured in some of the most exclusive celebrity homes.  Most notably, the creations have been featured on the covers of ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST, HOUSE & GARDEN, ELLE DÉCOR and many other like publications.  Not to mention, they have also been featured within the homes of Cher, Portia Di Rossi and many others.

    With an expanded product line for 2007 and new design concepts created every day, MCCOY DESIGN intends to keep their reputation of creating functional, beautiful, and inspiring design concepts for the home and beyond for years to come.
